Here are a few pictures that I took of Roy back in December 1980
The gig was at the famous Marquee club in London

His band at the time was "Roy Wood's Helicopters"
Songs on the night included: We're on the road again - Rock city - California man - Are you ready to Rock - Keep your hands on the wheel - I can hear the grass grow - Oh what a shame - See my baby jive - Blackberry way - Backtown sinner - Sing out the old bring in the new, and I wish it could be Christmas everyday.
The encore was Little Richard's "Keep a knockin"
Jon Camp was on Bass.

Jon had worked with Roy on Annie Haslam's album "Annie In Wonderland" which Roy produced

Paul Robbins played keyboards and guitar.

Paul was in a band called Fable in the early seventies and also worked with Roy on his "On The Road Again" and "Super Active Wizzo" albums

Mike Deacon played keyboards and was in a band called Darts.

They got to know each other when Roy produced their album, "Dart Attack"

The drummer on the night was Kex Gorin who used to be in Magnum. I didn't get to meet him, I think my silly beard and jacket might have scared him off
